Roberto Chabet
TO BE CONTINUEDA landmark survey exhibition featuring works of Roberto Chabet, founding Director of the CCP Museum and leading proponent of conceptual art in the country. The exhibit includes his plywood works from 1984 to the present; Bakawan, one of his early installation works (dated 1974); a collaborative work titled Apple Painting Lesson (dated 1982); and a recent installation titled Day and Night (dated 2011). It aims to celebrate the work of one of the most influential and thought provoking artists in the Philippines and to engage in an ongoing search for alternative propositions in art making.
